Job Description



Location: Henry Ford Genesys Hospital 

Schedule: Full-Time Afternoons, Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM 

GENERAL SUMMARY:

As our Radiology Manager, you'll be at the heart of our medical imaging operations, partnering with our leadership team, physicians, and staff to deliver cutting-edge diagnostic services that our community depends on. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead Daily Operations: Direct all aspects of our Radiology and Medical Imaging departments, ensuring seamless workflows that prioritize patient safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build & Develop Your Team: Recruit, onboard, and mentor high-performing imaging professionals. Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and professional growth while conducting meaningful performance evaluations.
  • Optimize Resources & Budget: Strategically manage operational budgets, analyze financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Collaborate with leadership to plan capital investments that keep our imaging technology at the forefront of the industry.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Maintain the highest standards of patient care by ensuring all departments meet accreditation requirements, licensing standards, and organizational policies. Stay ahead of regulatory changes and implement best practices.
  • Drive Strategic Planning: Work collaboratively with the Director and management team to develop both short-term operational strategies and long-term vision for imaging services, positioning our department as a leader in diagnostic excellence.
  • Foster Collaboration: Build strong partnerships across hospital departments, physicians, and external agencies to enhance patient outcomes and strengthen our community's healthcare ecosystem.

Qualifications



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-care related field or equivalent combination of education & radiology experience required. Bachelor's degree in a health-care related field preferred. 
  • Current certification in at least one of the Radiology Technology disciplines required; multiple certifications preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Radiology required in order to gain full knowledge of tests and procedures, review protocol and work of radiology personnel. 
  • Minimum of 2 years radiology leadership experience required.
