Quick Facts:

• Location: Redding, CA
• Start Date: 08/19/2026
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with weekend call from Friday 5pm to Monday 8am (remote)
• Shift: Clinic hours plus on-call rotations
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Locum
• License/Certifications: Board Eligible or Certified in Hematology and Oncology (must be currently licensed or eligible)
• Experience: Prior hematology/oncology experience required

What You’ll Do:

• Provide outpatient chemotherapy and infusion treatments in a hospital outpatient setting
• Manage all aspects of diagnosis, staging, treatment, and symptom management of hematology/oncology patients
• Collaborate with midlevel providers and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Perform procedures including blood transfusions, hormone therapy, immunotherapy, and more
• Provide hospital consults and work directly with ER physicians or hospitalists for admissions when needed
• Maintain EMR documentation using iKnowmed and Cerner systems

What You Need:

• Active medical license in California or ability to obtain
• Board Eligible or Certified in Hematology and Oncology
• Prior experience in hematology/oncology preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
