Lead Journeyman Electrician – Residential & Commercial

$30–$35 per hour | Bonuses | Benefits

Based in King George, VA

Four Elements Electrical Contracting is hiring a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to lead residential and commercial electrical projects and supervise one or more apprentices.

Our work includes new construction, remodels, and service projects, with most jobs located in Fredericksburg, King George, Colonial Beach, and the Northern Neck .

• $30–$35 per hour , based on experience, commercial and residential work history, and licensure

What You’ll Do

• Lead hands-on electrical work while supervising and mentoring one or more apprentices.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Install Romex, EMT and rigid conduit, MC cable, underground wiring, and related systems.
• Install and terminate service equipment up to 480 volts.
• Apply current National Electrical Code requirements and safe work practices.
• Organize daily work and communicate clearly with customers, team members, and project managers.

What You’ll Bring

• A current Journeyman Electrician license (required) .
• At least two years of experience leading commercial and/or residential electrical installations.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial electrical work; strong commercial experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to our office/shop in King George, VA.
• Ability to pass a basic background check.
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
• Pride in your workmanship and a willingness to continue learning.

Work Environment

This position involves indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions, working in attics, crawlspaces, and tight commercial spaces, and working at heights above 20 feet using appropriate ladders, lifts, and scaffolding. Safe work practices are essential on every project.
