Landscape LaborerKiawah Partners is currently hiring Landscape Laborers! Landscape Laborers are responsible for the overall care and maintenance of lawns, shrubs, flowerbeds, walks and gardens. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Mowing and edging lawns and around flower beds, walks and wallsMulching, aerating, weeding, and grubbingPlanting seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, and shrubs using gardening toolsDecorating gardens with stones and plantsFollowing planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers and foliagePruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain sawsRaking, mulching and composting leavesTrimming and picking flowers, and cleaning flower bedsWatering lawns, trees, and plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cansMaintaining and repair tools, equipment, and structures such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, and benches, using hand and power toolsProviding proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other grounds featuresQualificationsThe ability to lift and carry at least 30 lbs, and to sit, stand, kneel and walk for long periods, is requiredQualified applicants will be comfortable working outdoors for long periods in varied weather conditionsApplicants must be comfortable with the regular use of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axesSome previous experience as a landscaper or horticulturalist is strongly preferred, but not requiredExperience operating powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, leaf blowers, chain-saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws is preferredKiawah Partners OffersA knowledgeable and passionate management team which leads by exampleExcellent compensationThe best benefits package including health, vision, dental, short term/long term disability, 401K with employer contribution, fitness membership, and many other opportunitiesA work/life balanceFree parkingEmployee meals*Benefits are available to full-time employees after a waiting period and include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term and Long Term Disability, 401(k), Life Insurance, Accident Insurance, Telehealth, Health/Dependent care spending account, Wellness Program and generous paid time off including 12 vacation days, 6 sick days and 9 paid holidays per year.KP is an Equal Opportunity Employer that uses E-Verify.
