Job Description

Electronics Repair TechnicianThe Electronics Repair Technician independently performs the repair, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing failures, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment meets Radwell quality standards before being returned to service or made available for sale.This position is ideal for individuals with strong electronics troubleshooting skills who enjoy solving complex technical problems and working with industrial automation equipment in a hands-on production environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair industrial electronic and electro-mechanical equipmentPerform component-level troubleshooting on PLCs, drives, industrial PCBs, power supplies, HMIs, servo systems, and control devicesRepair, calibrate, program, and functionally test equipment to ensure proper operationUtilize test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and test fixturesPerform power-up, diagnostic, and functional testing on repaired unitsInspect, clean, and verify part numbers on all processed unitsIdentify and order replacement parts as requiredAccurately document repairs, troubleshooting steps, and test results in company systemsProcess units to Ready-to-Sell (RTS) standardsEnsure proper handling, labeling, and storage of equipment throughout the repair processFollow established repair, testing, quality, and safety proceduresSupport development of new repair capabilities and product knowledgeMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaPerform other duties, tasks, or work as assignedQualificationsStrong technical aptitude and troubleshooting abilitiesExperience with electronics repair and testingAbility to work independently while managing workload effectivelyPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsRequired to provide personal tools as specified by managementKnowledge & Skills RequiredUnderstanding of electronic components, circuits, and electrical fundamentalsAbility to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentationSoldering and de-soldering skillsFamiliarity with diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopesUnderstanding of PLCs, drives, industrial automation, and control systems preferredStrong computer proficiencyAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skillsEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredTechnical school training, military technical training, or Associate degree preferredExperience in electronics repair, industrial maintenance, automation, or related technical fields preferredIndustrial controls and automation experience is a plusPhysical DemandsOccasional reaching, working overhead, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingFrequent walkingContinuous standing and repetitive hand motionOccasional lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent lifting up to 25 pounds, and continuous lifting up to 10 poundsCompensationThe recruiting base pay rate for this full-time position is $28.00–$36.00 per hour.
