Description - This position requires the coordination of the crews that perform different tasks on the oil rig according to the regulations of the oil company, making sure that the work of the crew follows all company policies as well as enforcing rules regarding safety and PPE requirements. The Driller operates the main controls on the drilling rig and is team leader for the crew on shift to ensure they follow Company Policy and Procedure. The Driller reports to the Rig Manager and communicates with the 3rd party services on the drill floor.

Position Requirements - Mechanical aptitude At least 2-3 years rig based drilling experience Active Well Control certificate preferred Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as per the operation which may include any combination of the following: Steel Toed boots, safety glasses, hard hat, work gloves, chemical apron and gloves, approved respiratory device, face shield, goggles, protective hearing devices, safety harness Ability to perform work outside with prolonged exposure to the environment, both hot and cold, and may also involve prolonged exposure to wet or damp conditions (working in rain, snow, and sleet) Ability to have reliable transportation and arrive on time to the assigned worksite Ability to work 14 days on and 14 days off, or 20 days on and 10 days off, including holidays, weekends, and/or days and/or nights
